Byron Bay
At a glance
Bangalow & Ballina Remedial Massage - Newrybar is a massage practice at Shed 2/19 Old Pacific Hwy, Newrybar. The service focuses on remedial and relaxation treatments, with sessions tailored to each client’s needs rather than following a single fixed approach. It suits people seeking support with tension, sports-related concerns or general relaxation.
The treatment range includes remedial massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, relaxation massage and pregnancy massage. Trigger point work, dry needling, cupping and Bowen therapy are also available, along with Reiki and chakra balancing. These options give the practice a broad bodywork focus, from gentler relaxation sessions to more targeted treatments for areas of muscular tension.
Each treatment can be shaped around the individual, and different massage styles or modalities may be combined within one appointment. The practice describes massage as supporting physical, mental, emotional and energetic balance, with the overall aim of helping clients feel more relaxed, restored and comfortable after a session. The approach accommodates both people looking for quiet time to unwind and those booking massage in connection with activity or sporting strain.
The Newrybar location provides a convenient option for residents and visitors exploring the villages and hinterland around Byron Bay. It is also suited to pregnancy massage appointments, clients seeking lymphatic drainage massage and people interested in complementary techniques such as Bowen therapy or dry needling. Gift vouchers are available, making the practice suitable for a wellness-focused present as well as a personal appointment.
Appointments are organised through an online booking system or by phone. The practice also offers private health fund rebates through a HICAPS terminal, with card and EFTPOS facilities available. The service is appointment-based, so the venue is best understood as a dedicated massage setting rather than a café, restaurant or general wellness retail space.
