Northern NSW is blessed with some of the best beaches in the world and surfing is a way of life for locals. There are a number of world class surf breaks including four surfing reserves at Lennox Head, Angourie Point, Crescent Head and Merewether Beach, which are protected for use of the surfing community.
From the very beginner to the experienced charger there is a break that can cater to your ability. In the region there are plenty of surf schools, surf shops and board shapers to set you up with what you need. We have provided a list and locations of the main breaks on the North NSW Coast. You are bound to score some good waves.
