Salt Village

Salt village is a pristine, all white coastal development on the Tweed Coast near Kingscliff at the top of the NSW North Coast. It’s home to the beautiful and beachy hotel resorts of Peppers SaltPeppers Bale and Mantra Salt Beach, as well as the luxurious Golden Door Spa, the largest day spa retreat in NSW.

The design of the village itself is immaculate – it’s a magazine spread of coastal life, all surfboards, bicycles, crisp white linen and straw hats around here! With street names like Longboard, Pointbreak and Malibu Circuit, it's not hard to see what inspires this place. The village sits on the magnificent Salt Beach, a long stretch of ocean facing Pacific. Its pounding surf is patrolled by lifeguards, year round, 365 days. The stunning beach is backed by green bush (so you feel far away from city living) and is the ideal spot for a long early morning or sunset walk. Sometimes it seems as if you have the entire stretch to yourselves. Salt village offers a strip of restaurants, cafes and resort style shops, including Steven Snow’s highly acclaimed Fins restaurant. The place is a haven for the well to do Tweed Coast lifestyle seekers lucky enough to have a beach pad here – and the resorts in the village offer a great base from which to explore Northern NSW (with Byron Bay just a 30 minute drive down the coast).
