Byron Bay: Scenic Sunset River Cruise
7 ReviewsBask in the glorious evening sun as you enjoy a cold drink, tasty refreshments, and learn some local history from your Marine Biologist guide. Look out for local wildlife, such as dolphins and birds.
The Buddha Bar is a funky and laid back spot to come for dinner and drinks.
Situated beside the iconic Arts Factory backpackers, it's home to Byron Bay Brewery's premium ales and a fantastic Thai restaurant. Sip away beside giant gleaming silver beer vats, under the gaze of a giant buddha. There's a superb garden bar, filled with trees and fairy lights, an outdoor stage (frequently featuring live music), all presided over again by a giant buddha. The Thai kitchen serves up divine offerings at reasonable prices. Thai cook Thome sources ingrediants from the local markets and suppliers, and even uses spices from her own organic herb garden. You can really taste the freshness. The Buddha Bar also serves up European favourites such as pizzas and burgers, to keep all tastes happy. Desserts are blackboard specials and include the likes of passionfruit cheesecake, sticky date pud and a gluten free mudcake.
You'll be happy with the Buddha Bar's happy hour... from 5-7pm each night, with beers from just $2.50.
The bar has a courtesy bus to get you to and from safely, just call mobile 0429 603 102 for pickup.
The crowd at the Buddha Bar is as eclectic as the venue itself. Backpackers mix with locals, couples and family groups.
The Buddha Bar is a truly unique and highly recommended Byron Bay spot.
