Babalou
Byronbay
Sea.food.sun
A funky and welcoming bar and restaurant space, upstairs above the Kingscliff Beach Hotel.
An extensive drinks menu, fantastic Allpress coffee and a really inventive and modern dining menu. Their share plates are a great way to dine, tapas style or there's also a full mains menu on offer with delicious desserts (including a divine Banoffie Pie).
Hip and quirky decor, this place was inspired by Babalou, a surfing dog in Biarritz, South West France. There's even a vinyls lounge library, with an old school record player and collection for you to sit back and enjoy.
Open for breakfast and brunch, lunch, sunset cocktails and dinner - and they even do high teas. Perfect on a summer's day with wide open verandah style windows overlooking the ocean.
Sunday afternoon DJ sessions provide the perfect opportunity to sit back and chill, as you gaze across the sea to Cook Island.
