Tea and coffee facilities, built-in robes, ironing facilities, ceiling fans, reverse-cycle heating and cooling, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and a flat-screen Smart TV are provided across the accommodation.
Several shacks open onto private outdoor areas, including timber decks, balconies or garden spaces. Poolside options look across the sandstone-edged swimming pool and its broad natural timber deck. Outdoor beanbags and poolside areas create space for reading, resting or spending time outside between beach visits. Some accommodation also includes undercover deck space for relaxed outdoor drinks or dining.
The Cape Byron Shack is the largest freestanding option, with separate living and sleeping areas, a modern kitchen, a study desk and a washer-dryer. The Tallow Shack is a spacious ground-floor suite opening directly onto the pool deck. The Belongil Shack is a first-floor suite with a separate living room and a private balcony overlooking the pool. Bathroom layouts vary, with shower-over-bath facilities in some shacks and a walk-in shower in the Belongil Shack.
The property is designed for quiet stays, with a minimum guest age of 12 for individual bookings. Children may stay when the entire property is reserved for exclusive use. Hens and bucks events are not accepted. The Beach Shack suits couples who value privacy, self-contained facilities, distinctive interiors and easy access to the beach without staying in a large resort.
