The Amazing Wollumbin Palms Retreat at Mt Warning is the ideal romantic getaway, popular with honeymooners and couples who really want to get back to nature and escape the pressures of urban life. All three lodges are environmentally-friendly and were built with sustainable materials, and make the most of their unique surroundings. All lodges include a breakfast hamper each morning, an espresso machine with organic coffees and teas, and are pet-friendly.

The three eco cottages at Amazing Wollumbin each have their own character and charm, but all offer the same high standard of luxury inclusion including outdoor showers and private outdoor spas, as well as cosy log fireplaces for use in the colder months.

The asian inspired 'Water' sits overlooking a waterlily fringed lake and has been built with two intricate wooden canopies which were rescued from an ancient Indonesian palace. The exotic atmosphere is accentuated by heavy carved wooden doors and a large open breeze way connecting living and sleeping areas. This passage way also contains a tranquil koi pond, day bed and a spa for relaxing in. A suspended king size bed awaits and the glass walled bedroom and shower look out into the forest. There's a log fire and electric blankets for winter, so you can cosy up as you look across your own lake.

'Earth' is a unique lodge which has been crafted out of rock and stone with an earth roof. Furniture is hand made out of slab timber or concrete. Earth is light and airy, with its front wall made entirely of glass, with stunning views out to the peak of extinct volcano Mt Warning. To the rear is another full glass wall with rainforest vistas. You have your own private courtyard complete with an outside spa and shower, totally encircled by rainforest. The atmosphere is enhanced by intriguing carvings everywhere.

'Air' is a 12 sided 'yurt' style lodge, nestled high in the rainforest and accessed by its own bridge. Made of 8 different types of native timbers, with teak floors and surrounded by palm trees, this is a haven in the trees. There's a double hammock slung between trees and a spa on the verandah for you to sit and soak up the tranquil surrounds. In winter there's a log fire to keep things cosy.

Lodge facilities include air conditioning, full kitchens, a balcony and ensuite bathrooms. Each of the lodges also features its own driveway as well as a carport with automatic lighting. Pets are allowed. There are a host of luxurious extras including, making a stay here truly something exceptional.
